American center Marie Malone (191-89, college: Hofstra) scored 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Ida Pretzmann (174-90, college: TCU) chipped in 17 points during the contest. Guard Simona Bartkova (178-86) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and guard Elisabeth Hansen (176-93) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
