Very predictable result when twelfth ranked Firenze (14-15) won against on the road 18th ranked Perugia (8-21) 69-62. It looked good early as Perugia took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Firenze had a 28-11 second period charge getting the lead and Perugia was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 62-69. It was a great shooting night for Firenze especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. Center Andrea Capitanelli (203-86) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Four Firenze players scored in double figures.
