The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Cimberio Varese (20-6) on the court of twelfth ranked Sutor Montegranaro on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by Sutor Montegranaro 93-91. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Cimberio Varese. Cimberio Varese was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Sutor Montegranaro's coach Carlo Recalcati used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American point guard Mike Green (185-85, college: Butler) responded with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and his fellow American import power forward Bryant Dunston (202-86) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Sutor Montegranaro have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Vanoli CR. Cimberio Varese at the other side still keeps top position with six games lost.
