Very predictable result when eighth ranked Tezenis VE (12-12) won against on the road 13th ranked FCM Ferentino (8-15) 83-67. The game was mostly controlled by Tezenis VE. FCM Ferentino was better in second period 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tezenis VE dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to FCM Ferentino's 20. Tezenis VE forced 19 FCM Ferentino turnovers. American guard Charlie Westbrook (193-89, college: S.Dakota) stepped up and scored 23 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners and the former international guard Giorgio Boscagin (196-83) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five Tezenis VE players scored in double figures. At the losing side American-British forward Laurence Ekperigin (201-88, college: Le Moyne) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian point guard Marcos Casini (188-80) scored 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Tezenis VE moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Givova Scafati. FCM Ferentino lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth position with 15 games lost. Tezenis VE will play against Givova Scafati (#7) on the road in the next round. FCM Ferentino will play against Upea CdO (#10) in Capo d'Orlando and hopes to get back on the winning track.
