The game without a history. TV Saarlouis Royals led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held TSV Amicitia to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 50.0 percent accuracy of the winners and made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game, while TSV Amicitia only scored three points from the stripe. They outrebounded TSV Amicitia 42-29 including a 33-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Colleen Planeta (188-88, college: Point Loma) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Forward Laura Rahn (186-86) chipped in 18 points (made all of her eight free throws). Four TV Saarlouis Royals players scored in double figures. Forward Alexandra Shaw (176) produced 10 points and guard Sidney Parsons (168-87, college: Bridgeport) added 4 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
