The hosts trailed by 11 points at the halftime before their 44-30 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. TSV 1880 Wasserburg dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Don Bosco Bamberg's 30. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Emma Cannon (188-89, college: Cent.Florida) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 21 rebounds. Finnish swingman Tiina Sten (189-85, college: St.John's, agency: Regeneracom Sports) contributed with 13 points for the winners. American guard Janae Young (183-87, college: Pacific) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import guard Jessica Miller (173-88, college: Ill.-Chicago) added 12 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Don Bosco Bamberg. Four Don Bosco Bamberg players scored in double figures. Don Bosco Bamberg's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
