Rather expected game when 5th ranked Start Gdynia (9-20) was edged at home by third ranked Siarka Jezioro (12-17) 78-75 on Sunday. Start Gdynia trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 34-25 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 75-78 at the end of the game. It was a very good performance for the former international center Dawid Przybyszewski (215-81, college: Vanderbilt) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Nicchaeus Doaks (202-87, college: Chattanooga, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Guard Michal Jankowski (192-87) answered with 19 points and 5 rebounds and Bosnian-Israeli center Robert Rothbart (217-86, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group) added 12 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Start Gdynia. Four Siarka Jezioro and five Start Gdynia players scored in double figures. Siarka Jezioro maintains third place in Places 7-12 with 12-17 record having eight points less than leader PGE Turow. Newly promoted Start Gdynia keeps the fifth position with 20 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
