An interesting game was also a 18-point tough road defeat of 4th ranked Mineros de Cananea in a game versus Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon (#7) 87-69. Forward Sammy Monroe (198-85, college: Newberry) came up with 17 points and 6 rebounds and forward Rodney Alexander (201-87, college: Oklahoma City) added 18 points respectively for Mineros de Cananea in the defeat. Trigueros de Ciudad Obregon (2-1) moved-up to fifth place. Mineros de Cananea lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Nogales.
