Quarter-Finals Round 1: BC Vienna - Wels 86-75

BC Vienna controlled the game and deservedly posted victory against Wels in the playoff opener. The game was mostly controlled by BC Vienna. Raiffeisen Wels was better in third quarter 27-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BC Vienna players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Raiffeisen Wels' players. It was a very good performance for the former international guard Stjepan Stazic (199-78) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 7 assists. American swingman Ian Boylan (197-83, college: CS Northridge) contributed with 13 points and 9 assists for the winners. American forward Tyler Tiedeman (201-85, college: Boise St., agency: Interperformances) answered with 25 points and 6 rebounds and the former international Davor Lamesic (205-83, agency: Interperformances) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Raiffeisen Wels. Four Raiffeisen Wels players scored in double figures.
