Quarter-Finals Round 2: Bamberg - Wasserburg 77-88

Date: April 12, 2013
The game was mostly controlled by TSV 1880 Wasserburg. Don Bosco Bamberg managed to win third quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. TSV 1880 Wasserburg dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Don Bosco Bamberg's 28. American forward Emma Cannon (188-89, college: Cent.Florida) notched a double-double by scoring 27 points and 19 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international guard Stina Barnert (174-89) supported her with 22 points. Even 25 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) by Swedish forward Binta Drammeh (180-92) did not help to save the game for Don Bosco Bamberg. American guard Jessica Miller (173-88, college: Ill.-Chicago) added 15 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Four Don Bosco Bamberg players scored in double figures. Don Bosco Bamberg's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
