The game without a history. Heli Girls led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 24-of-27 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Heli Girls outrebounded Osnabruck 42-28 including a 32-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Finnish swingman Heta Korpivaara (186-84, college: Seton Hall, agency: Regeneracom Sports) scored 21 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Dorothea Richter (176-83) chipped in 12 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Four Heli Girls players scored in double figures. Power forward Juliane Hoehne (189-83, college: IPFW) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Ali Schwagmeyer (180-90, college: Quincy, agency: Gamble Sports Management) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
