It looked good early as U-Mobitelco took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Oradea had a 23-12 second period charge getting the lead and U-Mobitelco was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 63-77. Oradea made 29-of-38 charity shots (76.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded U-Mobitelco 34-23 including 24 on the defensive glass. U-Mobitelco was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Australian-Trinidad and Tobago swingman Daniel Dillon (194-86, college: Arizona) stepped up and scored 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Serbian forward Milos Pesic (205-84) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Oradea players scored in double figures. Oradea's coach Christian Achim allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side Serbian power forward Dalibor Djapa (205-84, agency: Alti Sport) responded with 24 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and Canadian swingman Stephen Ross (201-80, college: Santa Clara, agency: Court Side) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds.
