Second Stage Round 9: Rosa Radom - Siarka Jezioro 81-82

The most exciting game of round 9 in the TBL took place in Radom. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 4th placed Rosa Radom (10-20) to third ranked Siarka Jezioro (13-17) 82-81 in the game for the third place. The guests trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-81. Forward Jakub Dloniak (192-83, agency: Promotex) stepped up and scored 26 points for the winners and the former international center Dawid Przybyszewski (215-81, college: Vanderbilt) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American point guard Nic Wise (178-87, college: Arizona) with 22 points and 5 assists and the other American import guard J.J. Montgomery (196-82, college: Arkansas St.) scored 20 points. Rosa Radom's coach Wojciech Kaminski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Siarka Jezioro maintains third place in Places 7-12 with 13-17 record having just three points less than leader AZS Koszalin. Newly promoted Rosa Radom keeps the fourth position with 20 games lost. Siarka Jezioro are looking forward to face Kotwica (#6) in Kolobrzeg in the next round. Rosa Radom will play at home against the league's leader AZS Koszalin and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
