Quarter-Finals Round 4: Halychyna - Khimik 76-56

Halychyna cruised past Khimik to sweep the quarterfinal series. It looked good early as Khimik took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Halychyna had a 22-10 second period charge getting the lead and Khimik was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 56-76. They outrebounded Khimik 55-25 including a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Halychyna players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a very good performance for American forward Michael Lee (207-86) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Four Halychyna players scored in double figures. Montenegrin-Bosnian swingman Suad Sehovic (196-87) replied with 13 points and 9 rebounds and the former international guard Sergei Popov (194-88, agency: Beo Basket) added 10 points in the effort for Khimik. Khimik's coach Zvezdan Mitrovic rotated twelve players seeing no chance for a win.
