BC Vienna survived a thriller against Wels to take 2-0 lead in the series. It looked good early as Raiffeisen Wels took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then BC Vienna had a 23-11 second period charge getting the lead and Raiffeisen Wels were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 77-78. BC Vienna made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. The former international guard Stjepan Stazic (199-78) saved the victory by scoring 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. American swingman Shawn Ray (194-80, college: N.C.Central) contributed with 17 points for the winners.
