There was a minor upset when 12th ranked AcegasAps TR (9-15) was defeated on the road by fifteenth ranked Prima Veroli (9-16) 67-59 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 67-59. Prima Veroli outrebounded AcegasAps TR 39-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. American guard Paul Marigney (192-82, college: St.Mary's, CA) scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Latvian swingman Mareks Jurevicus (197-85) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Naturalized Argentinian point guard Ariel Filloy (189-87, agency: Interperformances) responded with 21 points and Belarusian Mikita Meshcharakou (202-88, college: Wake Forest) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. AcegasAps TR's coach Eugenio Dalmasson rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Prima Veroli moved-up to fourteenth place. AcegasAps TR lost fourth consecutive game.
