Top ranked Real Madrid (25-4) recorded its fourth loss at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by eighth ranked Blusens Monbus (15-14) 64-61. The guests trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 3 points. Blusens Monbus made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Robbie Hummel (203-89, college: Purdue, agency: Priority Sports) who scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import swingman Benjamin Dewar (196-81, college: L.Superior) chipped in 14 points. Naturalized Montenegrin power forward Nikola Mirotic (207-91) produced 12 points and 6 rebounds and international Rudy Fernandez (198-85) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Blusens Monbus maintains eighth place with 15-14 record. Real Madrid at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. Blusens Monbus are looking forward to face FIATC Joventut (#10) in Badalona in the next round. Real Madrid will play on the road against G.Canaria 2014 (#6) in Las Palmas and is hoping to win this game.
