Rudupis shot down Siauliai to claim the first win in the quarterfinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Rudupis. Siauliai managed to win second period 26-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Arturas Milaknis (195-86) stepped up and scored 24 points (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners and swingman Gediminas Orelikas (200-90) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four Rudupis players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized Swiss guard Rolandas Alijevas (192-85, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) responded with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and the former international Aurimas Kieza (202-82, college: Hofstra) scored 21 points. Siauliai's coach Gediminas Petrauskas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
