The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 21-19. But Neftochimic won second period 22-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The former international forward Natalia Topalova-Shopova (186-80) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points and 9 rebounds. Bosnian guard Amra Mehmedic (177-81) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American power forward Ashley Gayle (193-90, college: Texas, agency: LBM Management) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds and Estonian forward Viive Kai Rebane (182-89, college: Binghamton) added 14 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Neftochimic. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
