The game without a history. CSM Targoviste led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Alba Iulia's players. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Gabriela Marginean (182-87, college: Drexel) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Serbian power forward Ivanka Matic (193-79, agency: LBM Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four CSM Targoviste players scored in double figures. American forward Amanda Thompson (183-87, college: Oklahoma) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks and Russian-Israeli forward Ekaterina Abramzon (185-87) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Alba Iulia. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
