Very important is a road loss of second ranked Maccabi Haifa (15-8) against fourth ranked GreenTops Netanya (12-11) on Thursday night. Visiting Maccabi Haifa was defeated by GreenTops Netanya in a tough game in Netanya 94-99. Maccabi Haifa trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 31-22 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 94-99 at the end of the game. Maccabi Haifa's coach Brad Greenberg rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. GreenTops Netanya maintains fourth place in League with 12-11 record. Loser Maccabi Haifa dropped to the third position with eight games lost. GreenTops Netanya will meet league's second-placed Hapoel Eilat on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Maccabi Haifa will play against Hapoel Jerusalem and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
