Zalgiris swept the series versus Nevezis following a comfortable road win on Thursday. The game without a history. Zalgiris led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Nevezis' 28. The best player for the winners was the former international center Darjus Lavrinovic (212-79) who scored 20 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). The former international center Robertas Javtokas (211-80, college: Arizona, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Zalgiris' coach Joan Plaza used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Gediminas Zyle (210-88) produced 15 points and 5 rebounds and the former international point guard Vytenis Jasikevicius (187-85) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
