Neptunas needed three overtimes to overcome Pieno Zvaigdes in the dramatic second game of the series and make it into the semis. The guests trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 20-10 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in triple-overtime eventually winning that period 9-9. Neptunas forced 20 Pieno Zvaigzdes turnovers. Pieno Zvaigzdes was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American-Samoan point guard Rashaun Broadus (180-84, college: BYU) who scored 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.
