Semi-Finals Game 1: Duesseldorf - Jena 83-61

Date: April 19, 2013
The game was mostly controlled by Duesseldorf Baskets. Science City Jena was better in fourth quarter 15-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Science City Jena 42-24 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized American forward Adam Waleskowski (204-82, college: Florida St., agency: Three Eye Sports) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). American point guard Gary Johnson (188-82, college: Cent.Florida) contributed with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Kenny Barker (191-86, college: Alaska-Anch.) answered with 16 points and Lithuanian Aurimas Adomaitis (206-87, college: LIU Brooklyn) added 11 points in the effort for Science City Jena. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
