Top ranked Orchesien BC (23-5) recorded its fifth loss on the court of sixth ranked Monaco on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Monaco 79-73. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Orchesien BC. Orchesien BC trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 14-8 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 73-79 at the end of the game. Monaco had a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Serbian forward Milutin Aleksic (203-82) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Monaco is looking forward to face Vendee Challans (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Orchesien BC will play against Blois (#4) and is hoping to win this game.
