There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked Boulazac Basket (9-19) beat at home higher ranked JSF Nanterre (15-13) 75-63 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 41-22 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Boulazac Basket dominated on the defensive end, holding JSF Nanterre to just 7 points in third quarter. Quite impressive performance for American Amadi McKenzie (201-86, college: Tenn Tech) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds. The other American import guard Alex Acker (196-83, college: Pepperdine) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. American swingman David Lighty (195-88, college: Ohio St.) replied with 20 points and 5 rebounds and Colombian power forward Juan Palacios (204-85) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for JSF Nanterre.
