There was an upset when higher ranked Chorale de Roanne (16-12) lost on the road to twelfth ranked STB Le Havre (12-16) 78-70 on Saturday. Chorale de Roanne trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 26-20 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 70-78 at the end of the game. It was a great shooting night for STB Le Havre especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Quite impressive performance for American guard Bernard King (196-81, college: Texas A&M) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Romanian forward Vlad Moldoveanu (209-88, college: the other American import) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Coleman Collins (206-86, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Interperformances) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds and the former international William Gradit (197-82, college: Hill JC) added 18 points in the effort for Chorale de Roanne. STB Le Havre maintains twelfth position with 12-16 record, which they share with Limoges. Loser Chorale de Roanne dropped to the fourth place with 12 games lost. STB Le Havre will face league's second-placed Chalon/Saor on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Chorale de Roanne will play against Sluc Nancy.
