Twelfth-ranked Angers BC 49 (11-17) made lots of trouble for second ranked Souffelweyersheim (20-9). The visitors from Souffel. managed to secure only three-point victory 63-60. However their fans expected much easier game. Angers BC 49 was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 37-33 second half run of Souffelweyersheim.
