Quarter-Finals Round 4: Gmunden - Oberwart 84-91

Date: April 21, 2013
Oberwart entered the semifinal stage as they handed Gmunden the third loss in the series. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-84. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Puerto Rican point guard Darnell Hinson (186-80, college: Northeastern St.) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and American-Puerto Rican guard Richard Chaney (196-84, college: Troy) who added 17 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American forward Robert Arnold (198-88, college: Boise St.) responded with 21 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Dan Oppland (203-84, college: Valparaiso, agency: SportsTalent) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Five Redwell Gunners Oberwart and four Gmunden Swans players scored in double figures. Gmunden Swans' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
