The most exciting game of round 2 in the Winner League took place in Ashdod. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 3rd ranked Maccabi Ashdod (10-14) to first ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (12-12) 77-75 on Sunday evening. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 29-21 charge, which allowed them to win the game. International point guard Bar Timor (190-92, agency: Avi Zilberman) scored 21 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Anthony Goods (191-87, college: Stanford) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Maccabi Ashdod at the other side dropped to the fourth place with 14 games lost. Hapoel Tel-Aviv are looking forward to face league's second-placed Galil Gilboa in Rosh Pina in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Maccabi Ashdod will play on the road against Ironi Ashkelon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
