We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 9th ranked Juvecaserta (13-15) lost to tenth ranked Air Avellino (12-15) in Caserta 75-85 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 33-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Air Avellino made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. Air Avellino outrebounded Juvecaserta 37-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Bulgarian forward Kaloyan Ivanov (205-86, agency: Beo Basket) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Juvecaserta's coach Stefano Sacripanti rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Air Avellino maintains tenth position with 12-15 record. Juvecaserta at the other side keeps the ninth place with 15 games lost. Air Avellino will face higher ranked Umana Venezia (#8) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
