Regular Season Round 28: Sutor MGR - Pesaro 94-108
Date: April 21, 2013
We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fourteenth ranked VL Pesaro (10-18) won against on the road 13th ranked Sutor Montegranaro (11-17) 108-94 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 108-94. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Andrea Crosariol (211-84, college: Fair Dickinson) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). American-Lebanese swingman Antwain Barbour (196-82, college: Kentucky, agency: Three Eye Sports) contributed with 27 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward Christian Burns (203-85, college: Philadelphia, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) replied with 25 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Daniele Cinciarini (194-83) added 18 points in the effort for Sutor Montegranaro. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Sutor Montegranaro's coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. VL Pesaro maintains fourteenth position with 10-18 record. Sutor Montegranaro at the other side dropped to the eleventh place with 17 games lost. VL Pesaro will face league's leader Cimberio Varese on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
