The game was mostly controlled by SC Rasta Vechta. BG Karlsruhe was better in fourth quarter 12-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded BG Karlsruhe 36-24 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward A.J. Rudowitz (198-88, college: Stonehill) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points and 7 rebounds. The former international center Dirk Madrich (211-83) contributed with 12 points for the winners. SC Rasta Vechta's coach Patrick Elzie allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American point guard Michael Stockton (185-89, college: Westminster, UT) replied with 19 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Jeremy Black (203-85, college: Tampa, agency: Court Side) added 8 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for BG Karlsruhe.
