There was no surprise when 16th ranked Angelico Biella (6-22) lost on the road to seventh ranked Armani Milano (17-11) 85-67 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Armani Milano. Angelico Biella was better in third quarter 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Angelico Biella 48-27 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Armani Milano looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a very good performance for swingman Alessandro Gentile (198-92) who helped to win the game recording 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American-FYR Macedonian point guard Marques Green (167-82, college: St.Bonaventure) contributed with 9 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American-Montenegrin point guard Taylor Rochestie (185-85, college: Washington St.) replied with 10 points and 8 assists and Slovenian power forward Goran Jurak (203-77) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Angelico Biella. Four Angelico Biella players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Armani Milano moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Trenkwalder RE and Montepaschi. Angelico Biella at the other side stay dead last with 22 lost games. Armani Milano will face Cantu (#7) on the road in the next round. Angelico Biella will play against Lottomatica Roma (#3).
