The game was mostly controlled by BG Karlsruhe. SC Rasta Vechta managed to win second period 16-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was forward Rouven Roessler (200-80) who scored 27 points and 7 rebounds. American point guard Michael Stockton (185-89, college: Westminster, UT) chipped in 20 points. Four BG Karlsruhe players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international center Dirk Madrich (211-83) who recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and Canadian forward Jacob Doerksen (200-87) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively. SC Rasta Vechta's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
