The game in Jerusalem was also quite interesting. Second ranked Hapoel Eilat (16-9) played at the court of 5th ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (12-12). Hapoel Eilat managed to secure a 7-point victory 78-71 on Wednesday. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 21-12. But Hapoel Jerusalem won second period 24-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was also dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Scotty Hopson (200-89, college: Tennessee) who scored 26 points and 6 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field). Power forward Eli Holman (208-89, college: Detroit Mercy) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field).
