Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Chieti (13-19) lost at home to eleventh ranked Bari (16-16) 71-57 on Thursday. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 71-57. Point guard Simone Bonfiglio (181-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). point guard Tommaso Laquintana (187-95) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Four Bari players scored in double figures. The former international center Emanuele Rossi (208-82) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized Serbian forward Marko Micevic (198-89) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Chieti.
