There was no surprise when 12th ranked Hyeres-Toulon (15-18) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked JL Bourg (18-15) 75-69 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Hyeres-Toulon won third quarter 17-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was Gambian forward Moses Sonko (197-83, college: Co.Carolina, agency: Two Points) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds. American swingman Jason Forte (196-84, college: S.Mississippi) chipped in 17 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Axel Julien (185-92) who recorded 16 points and 7 assists and power forward Landing Sane (207-90) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Four Hyeres-Toulon players scored in double figures. JL Bourg maintains ninth place with 18-15 record. Loser Hyeres-Toulon keeps the twelfth position with 18 games lost.
