The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 19-12. But CSM Targoviste won second period 17-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when ICIM Arad won last quarter 14-11. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Jennifer Risper (175-87, college: Vanderbilt) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Her fellow American import center Kari Laplante (195-89, college: USC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Ashley Walker (187-87, college: California) answered with 11 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian power forward Ivanka Matic (193-79, agency: LBM Management) added 5 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for CSM Targoviste.
