Semi-Finals Game 3: Azovmash - Ferro-ZNTU 86-79

Azovmash earned the third straight win over Ferro-ZNTU to step closer to the title series. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 32-20. But Ferro-ZNTU won second period 21-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Azovmash looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. It was a great evening for American point guard Lynn Greer (186-79, college: Temple) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. Serbian power forward Tadija Dragicevic (206-86, agency: Beo Basket) helped adding 19 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was American point guard Randy Culpepper (182-89, college: UTEP) with 30 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import R.T. Guinn (208-81, college: Baylor) scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Azovmash and four Ferro-ZNTU players scored in double figures.
