Very predictable result in Sevilla where fifth ranked Gescrap BB (19-13) outscored 16th ranked Cajasol (11-21) 81-60. It looked good early as Cajasol took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Gescrap BB had a 20-14 second period charge getting the lead and Cajasol was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 60-81. Gescrap BB dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Cajasol's 24. The winners were led by American power forward Lamont Hamilton (208-84, college: St.John's) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and the former international forward Alex Mumbru (202-79) supported him with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Gescrap BB players scored in double figures. Even 13 points and 9 rebounds by Serbian forward Luka Bogdanovic (210-85, agency: Beo Basket) did not help to save the game for Cajasol. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
