The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Ironi Ashkelon's (6-21) road loss to fifth ranked Bnei Hasharon (10-17) 81-99 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Bnei Hasharon. Ironi Ashkelon was better in second period 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Bnei Hasharon won last quarter 34-18. Bnei Hasharon outrebounded Ironi Ashkelon 49-23 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Ironi Ashkelon's players. American forward Jumaine Jones (203-79, college: Georgia) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 10 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners and naturalized American power forward Isaac Rosefelt (204-85, college: St.Thomas, agency: Avi Zilberman) chipped in 23 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Bnei Hasharon's coach Matan Harush used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American swingman Julien Mills (193-85, college: Ball St.) responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import point guard Marque Perry (185-81, college: St.Louis, agency: N.E.T.) scored 21 points. Four Bnei Hasharon and five Ironi Ashkelon players scored in double figures. Bnei Hasharon maintains fifth place in League with 10-17 record. Loser Ironi Ashkelon keeps the sixth position with 21 games lost.
