Galatasaray was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Serbian center Ivana Matovic (197-83) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Cappie Pondexter (175-83, college: Rutgers) contributed with 27 points for the winners. Belgian center Ann Wauters (194-80, agency: Josep and Nicolas) answered with 25 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Lindsey Harding (173-84, college: Duke) added 16 points in the effort for Galatasaray.
