There was no surprise when 13th ranked Sutor Montegranaro (11-19) was defeated on the road by third ranked Lottomatica Roma (20-10) 82-64. It looked good early as Sutor Montegranaro took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Lottomatica Roma had a 27-13 second period charge getting the lead and Sutor Montegranaro was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 64-82. Lottomatica Roma forced 22 Sutor Montegranaro turnovers. Hungarian Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and international forward Luigi Datome (203-87) supported him with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Lottomatica Roma players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 5 rebounds by American forward Christian Burns (203-85, college: Philadelphia, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) did not help to save the game for Sutor Montegranaro. Canadian-British guard Kyle Johnson (195-88, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: SportsTalent) added 11 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lottomatica Roma have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 20-10 record having just three points less than leader Cimberio VA. Sutor Montegranaro lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with 19 games lost.
