Rather expected game when 5th ranked Mineros de Cananea (8-11) was defeated on the road by second ranked Ostioneros de Guaymas (14-5) 111-100 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 111-100. Ostioneros de Guaymas dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Mineros de Cananea's 54. Ostioneros de Guaymas looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Americans were the main players on the court.
