Ferro-ZNTU dominated on the defensive end, holding Halychyna to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They also forced 19 Halychyna turnovers. 26 personal fouls committed by Halychyna helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Randy Culpepper (182-89, college: UTEP) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and the other American import guard Jeremy Chappell (191-87, college: Robert Morris, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) who added 20 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: Beo Basket) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian-Bosnian point guard Sasa Vasiljevic (180-79, agency: Beo Basket) scored 17 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Halychyna's coach Zeljko Lukajic rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
