The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Akhisar Bld won third quarter 17-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Usak dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Akhisar Bld's 40. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Akhisar Bld was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) nailed 23 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Eric Buckner (208-90, college: Georgia St., agency: David Lee services) accounted for 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. Usak's coach Ozan Bulkaz allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Tyrone Nelson (206-85, college: N.Mexico St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and forward Emre Ozpulat (200-82) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Akhisar Bld in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
