BC Vienna needed overtime to overcome visiting Oberwart. BC Vienna are now 2-0 up in the title series. Redwell Gunners Oberwart was trailing by 8 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 13-12 charge of BC Vienna, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 10-8. Redwell Gunners Oberwart was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American power forward Maurice Pearson (206-89, college: Georgetown, KY, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) who scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import swingman Ian Boylan (197-83, college: CS Northridge) chipped in 13 points and 8 assists. American-Puerto Rican guard Richard Chaney (196-84, college: Troy) produced 31 points and 7 rebounds and American-Puerto Rican point guard Darnell Hinson (186-80, college: Northeastern St.) added 28 points respectively for the guests.
