Little is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Rayos de Hermosillo's coach Dan Tacheny allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American swingman Marcus Morrison (198-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) responded with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Omar Quintero (183-81, college: S.Nazarene) scored 23 points and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains first position with 24-6 record. Loser Tijuana Zonkeys keep the third place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Nogales. Rayos de Hermosillo will meet bottom-ranked Pioneros Los Mochis (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
