Regular Season Round 10: Sichuan BW - Hebei S. 118-68

Bottom-ranked Hebei S. is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their tenth consecutive match to fifth ranked Sichuan BW (7-3) 118-68. The game without a history. Sichuan BW led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Hebei S.'s 36. Sichuan BW forced 20 Hebei S. turnovers and outrebounded them 45-33 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Hebei S.'s players. American power forward Hassan Whiteside (213-89, college: Marshall) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Forward Ma Chao (196-86) chipped in 18 points. ZhiMing Dan (196-92) produced 17 points and point guard GuoQiang Zhou (185-91) added 10 points respectively for lost side. Five Sichuan BW and four Hebei S. players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sichuan BW moved-up to second place, which they share with Jiangsu TX and Hong Kong. Hebei S. at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. Sichuan BW's next round opponent will be league's leader Chongqing FD in Guangzhou and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hebei S. will play at home against Hong Kong (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
